About our league

Franklin Township Rookie League (FTRL) is a developmental baseball league located on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Each division introduces more advanced baseball concepts that are developmentally appropriate to the age of the child. Our goal is to prepare every child for the next level of baseball while fostering an atmosphere that promotes a love for the game.

Our Leagues

Each spring we offer recreational leagues in the following divisions:

• T-Ball (3 & 4 year olds)
• Minors (5 & 6 year olds)
• Majors (7 & 8 year olds)
• 9 & 10 year old division

Fall recreational leagues are typically offered for the Minors, Majors, and 9 & 10 year old divisions.

In addition, we offer a competitive showcase program for more advanced players during the summer. We field showcase teams at the 7U, 8U, 9U, and 10U age groups.
