Important Announcement for 2021
Unification of FTRL and FTLLUpdatedTuesday December 1, 2020 byFTRL Baseball.
For many years youth baseball in Franklin Township has been split into two competing programs for ages 5-8 years old. This has led to direct competition within the township, plus frustration and confusion for the families involved.
Recreational league and community programs around the state of Indiana continue to improve their offerings and facilities. After several years of discussions, board members at both Franklin Township Rookie League (FTRL) and Franklin Township Little League (FTLL) have agreed to combine efforts to offer a single recreational/community program for families in Franklin Township in order to improve baseball development for all skill levels.
We are excited to announce that beginning immediately for the 2021 season and beyond registration for youth baseball in Franklin Township will be offered through a single consolidated program - Franklin Township Little League.
For families that are familiar with FTRL you will not see a huge difference in your program. Games for ages 3-8 years old will still primarily be played at Thompson Crossing, while games for 9 years and above will continued to be played at Wanamaker. By allowing each location to focus on what they do best, we can pool all players together to grow the township's development.
Registration for the 2021 Spring Season for all age levels (3-16) is now open through the FTLL website. The following is a link to begin the registration process: Franklin Township Little League
Families at FTRL who elected to retain a credit on their account after last season's cancellations will be able to apply those credits this year.
